Can't go on the Washington trip? Got friends interested in what We Surround Rochester is all about? Want to just hang out at Billy's and celebrate what an amazing 6 months this has been?

This is going to be memorable! Invite your friends.

Join us for a Viewing Party at Bathtub Billys to watch Glenn Beck's coverage of the Rally in Washington DC and other rallies across the nation from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. If you can't make it to Washington, it's the next best thing!

It's also the perfect first event for all new members... it's casual and fun, and we'll be covering topics (during the commercials!) like getting the most out of the group, using the web site and 'Snappy Answers to Stupid Questions' for the best way to talk about these topics with friends.

So grab a plate of wings and your favorite drink and let's cheer on the events as the unfold in Washington.

Hope to see you there, You won't forget this one.
Lisa

This was great. Next time let's try one new thing. If there is an event in washinton less invite a news perons to go down with us. Pay for their ticket and food and let them talk to people. I keep running into the same D&C reporter and I know a few from the other papers that may be interested.

This was my first meeting and I will say right now that I am proud to be among such a great group of people working together to protect our country in a group like this. Thank you very much.

Huge crowd... they had to open the curtain and people were in the bar area with TVs on... just like our first meeting! I asked how many people were at their first meeting and maybe 1/3 or more raised their hands. Good event... good energy to take this and the new ideas from Glenn and move on.

    Book Swap at this meeting:
Bring the patriot books you have finished (5000 Year Leap, Glenn's Common Sense, and all of your personal favorites) and we'll have a 'Book Swap' table out at the meeting.

Don't let them gather dust, when they could be educating the next person (and saving them $$).

Put your name in the book and grab it back at any time. When you take a book, please read it and return to the Book Swap for the next monthly meeting.

Thank you Linda 1:00 to 3:00 is great. Carl & I went to the Tea Party Express in Indiana on Monday.
Seeing all those people who are just like me, people that you could be instant friends with. So, seeing the Glenn Beck show televised together will be inspiring.
I look forward to seeing everyone. I also, have talked to Wendy who will be at the DC meeting, and I can call her after the televised event and let her speak on our speaker cell call live from the event. How about that!!

Now I'm confused - I thought the meet up was at 5:00 p.m. - so this is a change now to 1:00 p.m.? Or is this in addition to the 5:00 p.m. meeting? I've been "recruiting" and believe I will have 5-6 additional people coming - but we were talking about 5 p.m. - someone please advise me.....this will be my first meeting...

Is there going to be a 9/12 rally in Rochester for those not going to D.C.?

With about 1/3 to 1/2 new people... it was a wonderful, fresh meeting. Lots of excited people being part of this historic day... great job!

Party was great, food was great, people were great. Now is the time to isolate the disease in Washington. We the people...

As I looked around the room -and watched the coverage on the march on Washington I saw that most people looked just like us! "Average, hard working American Citizens" who are just plain Tired of big government pushing their beliefs on us and taking our freedoms away and we are tired of paying for it!

...a super, light, and enjoyable gathering of patriots...and this is only the start! Well organized, good location, large group even with half of our dedicated people rallying down in Washington! Together, we can grow and start taking our country back.

It was great to meet and get together with others who are interested in working to preserve the republic and make the politicians accountable.
    •  I hesitated to go because I had so much to do at home, but I had a talk with myself about how this was so much more important. I'm SO glad I went. I met some great people, Lisa ( shirts), Lorraine with her 2 precious kids ( how dedicated is she???), Tony and Maureen, Marty and wife from Spencerport, etc. The feeling was truly, "I am not alone." It was so great that we prayed and that we know our priorities. Thanks to everyone who came. Let's keep this ball rolling!
    •  This group should have more gatherings.
    •  A perfect way to meet others who share the same values and views. Glenn is heading the right way. Corruption is the key symptom and perhaps this provides the only target for us to take aim. I think if one peels the onion back another layer the root cause is greed for money and power. Even this may have another layer, the loss of morality. Unfortunately it's difficult to address morality and greed. as these are values. We can address corruption. I'm excited to charge ahead.
    •  It is very encouraging to know that there are other people that are concerned about what our 'beloved' government is doing to our country. Thank you all for being there. I would want to know more effective ways of letting our 'representatives' know how they should vote. Is it best to contact them by phone, letter or email and where can I find this contact information??? Were any of our representatives invited to attend?
    •  Chatted with some great people today: John & Joyce from Victor, and Rich from Wolcott. As always, the event was lively and well organized, thanks to the efforts of Ken, Lisa and I'm sure others. Nice job today, thanks!

We appreciated having a place here in Rochester to gather with like minded folks to view the Fox special reporting of the Washington DC's rally. Thanks to all those who do all the organizing and planning. We are also very thankful for Bathtub Billy's support in lending us the meeting space. If our success grows we may have to look for another venue with more seating.
    •  Enjoyed the meeting. At times, the volume could have been louder. I couldn't hear the speaker at all times. I could hear Glenn Beck ok, tho.
    • Brenda (+3 guests)
Very impressed with the turn out. The people I met and spoke with were very nice. It was great being in a room with like mined people. I believe today is just the true beginning of "Change" in America.
    •  It was wonderful to hear the positive reaction of people to Glenn's huge program. We may feel good but remember this is just the beginning. We must not get complacent!!
    •  It was fun and encouraging to be with other people who feel the same way. It would be nice to get a group going further south. I have a 112 mile round trip. Is there a group in Livingston County or Dansville, etc?
    •  I met great people, most of us in attendance at this event as our first meeting with the group. It was comforting to be in the company of like-minded, freedom-loving individuals and to be able to have good discussions and share ideas. I look forward to many more meetings. I was outside of the main meeting area and unable to hear the discussions over the PA system, but the discussions I had with others was very uplifting and motivating!
    •  It was our 1st and am grateful to have been a part of it. It was nice meeting fellow citizens of this great country who believe in the Constitution and includes God and Prayer. I wish to thank Glenn Beck for bringing us together and reminding us who America really is. Where would we be today without him. He is a gift from God. Todd & Pamela Anderson
