Come join us to talk about our group's focus in 2010.

Ken & Ron will also be talking about taking better photos and videos... as well as using the 'net, Facebook, Twitter and other modern tools to get information out and be more effective in reaching our goals.

We need to ask our representatives to take a pledge. We need to find out RIGHT NOW if our representatives believe, support or reflect our principles and values and if they will not do so in their actions then they are not supporting us. More importantly they are not supporting, protecting, or defending the constitution.

This will be our most important meeting in 2010. Join us to help plan our actions in this critical election year. Be a part of a historic shift in the political landscape, and have your voice heard.

I have to agree with some others. The photography lesson kind of got us off track. I do appreciate the time and effort that went into it. It just seems like we could have used some of that time to discuss issues.

This is the first meeting I have been able to attend. Was there a flag before and it just wasn't there today? If one is needed can I donate one to the room? Will Bath Tub Billy's let ust display it?

    Please go to
    www.wallbuilders.com
to find up to date information concerning the Constitution.
This is David Barton's website who appears frquently on TV, has written several books and even connects the Christian faith to the Constitution. You won't be disappointed with this website. PS I have seen him on TV and he can't stop talking about the Constitution. He knows everythng sbout the Constitution.

My brother and I are technology "experts" when it comes to computers. If we could bring enough laptops to the meeting I know I would be happy to help people sign up for social networking sites and other such things.

I could also help with other things but I would need specifics.

It would be VERY easy to set people up on facebook and get a large group together (we already have one on there)....let me know ahead of time if your interested.

Would like to talk about becoming more "educational" as a group - separate from message board discussions. Many of us know a little of this, a little of that; so many issues hitting us fast & furious. What about breaking out issues (topics) & asking those w/interest & knowledge to do a short synopsis w/options for more info. Use fact checker reviewers - maybe a small rotating committee? Just so much to understand. I have more thoughts/ideas, but will end and throw this out to the group.

    •  The meeting was well organized and stayed to the general outline of the meeting so that we understood the objectives for 2010. The only area that I was left a bit fuzzy on was the last piece, "How to use Modern Technology to Get There. The gentleman began with a presentation on digital cameras and I after five to ten minutes, I could see no relation to what he was discussing and the general topic of the meeting. This was the point where I bailed out. I trust that somehow the discussion of digital cameras were connected to the general topics in some fashion. The attendees are all like minded conservative voters who are intent upon correcting the problems in our local, county, state, and federal govt. I was impressed by the amount of people who braved the cold weather to attend. This was my first opportunity to attend one of the organization's meetings. First impresssions are the best and based upon what I saw, I will be back.

I'm don't have a lot of experience using Modern Technology but after the meeting have a better understanding of how a lot of these networking websites work and how Facebook is different from Twitter. It was very good information.
    •  Great meeting !!!
    •  We are moving in a steady, forward direction toward regaining control of our government. We must use any technology available to us to get the word out, and hopefully, help people to understand the road we (the country) have been going down the last hundred years is the wrong one. We need for those around us to understand that we need to get back too, and adhere too the basic principles that our founding fathers struggled over, to build a country that turned out to be the greatest on earth. When 'they' managed to start taking God out, is when the backwards slide started to excellerate away from our founding principles. What ever means we have to educate, or in some cases, re-educate the general public, need to be used. Thanks for enlightening us older folks.

The meeting was very informative. I was glad that my husband and I attended. It, also, gave me a chance to connect with another individual that was part of the 28th District.
    •  I enjoyed the efforts to loosly define our goals for 2010. I didn't understand the length of time spent on photography - a couple of comments regarding taking a picture that speaks for the event would have been enough. I would have liked to spend more time on facebook, twitter and networking. Can we provide our membership with some training on these, myself included?
    •  Outline was ok, discussion of how to take good pics was unnecessary, discussion of why to take good pics was good. The question of whether to co-opt an existing political party or create a 3rd party is vital but was not a topic for discussion.
    •  Did not like the second part of the program. It did not relate to the issues we had to discuss. I would have prefered to spend more time talking about the issues.

Great sharing of information and learned a few things about photos and how to apply it to get the word out.
    •  I thought I would learn some hands-on info instead of websites. I did learn about upcoming events & the info about joining a committee was very useful.
