The White House has confirmed that President Barack Obama will deliver a speech on the economy at Hudson Valley Community college on Monday at 11:00am. As with all his commitments, the time, place, is is subject to change or cancellation at any time so keep checking back here.

Aim on leaving Rochester at 6:00am, he speaks at 11:00am, and getting back between 4:00pm and 5:00pm.

    • “ This was a good experience. The Albany group was glad to have our support, and we were able to make our presence felt. The president did notice us both arriving and leaving, although he did turn his back on us when he noticed us at his departure. Good conversations were had between us and other attendees; one, who challenged me at first, came back and said that she found out she was wrong (thank you, whoever talked to her!) and would even like to hold a sign with us! Conversations in the car were valuable too. It also increased my determination for us to encourage participation in the "Can You Hear Me Now?" event coming up,but more about that in another post. ”
    • “ I had a great time. For a bunch of different groups working together we organized really well and for the very short time Obama's motorcade was going by he knew we were there. I met a lot of great people and couldn't be happier with the results. ”
