- This is a wristband event. 1,000 wristbands will be handed out. Each person with a wristband can bring one other person. Limit of two books can be signed per wristband. They will begin to hand the bands out at 9:00am the day of the event. At least one of the copies of "Going Rogue" to be signed must be purchased at Borders, and you must have proof of purchase in order to get a wristband.
- It is rumored that for the other book signings, people wanting wristbands have started lining up as early as 2:00am, and some people that have gotten there at 6:00am an not gotten a wristband, so if you really want to go you may want to get there very early!

- There will be a table to check your bags/purses and to collect any gifts you might bring for Governor Palin.
- Absolutely no memorabilia, posters, signs, clothing, or other items allowed in the signing line. Please leave these items in your car.

I had a writing deadline to meet and it made getting up in the wee hours impossible. I did buy the book though and my husband , kids and I are going to cheer when the bus arrives. I hope you got a wrist band Kevin D after all you went through to get here!

Passed by Borders around 11:30 PM...the line was already down by Chuckie Cheese. I saw a few Tea Party Patriot hats in the crowd. Still suffering the after effects of the h1n1 flu so it probably would not be a wise idea to sit outside all night long. I love Sarah but my health comes first.

I'm going to bed now. Lori W. is driving from Lyons to my place in Ontario. Plan to leave here at 2:30 a.m. and head for Borders! There should be a good crowd started already, from what callers were saying on Lonsberry today. It's an early call but is exciting to have Sarah Palin stop here in Rochester, NY. I don't want to miss the chance to meet her and have her autograph my copy of "Going Rogue: An American Life"! I think we are all going to be part of a history making event! See you there!

For anyone planning to see Sarah Palin tomorrow.....I was down at Border's in Henrietta about an hour and a half ago to buy my copy of Sarah's book. I left there about 6:20, and there was already a group of about 10 people who came there together, who has started the wristband line. I don't know what that means for how quickly the line will grow between now and 9am, but I thought you would all like to know that the line has started forming.

Yea definitely. I figure, this may be my one chance to meet her. So I'm going to do whatever I can to get a wristband. I just saw a clip of her book tour in Michigan tonight-it looks like a zoo. The amount of people she attracts is truly amazing. I can't wait until Saturday!

Wow Kevin. I can see me getting there at 6 but not 5. You are so dedicated to drive all that way to see her. Knowing that at least one other person will be there (you ) I will feel safer standing in a parking lot in the dark. When we went to Washington DC I had to line up for three hours in the morning to guarantee that I got tickets for our family to go into the Holocaust Museum...same thing with a limited amount they process each day. Some things are just worth it !

Cynthia, I plan on parking over night since I am coming from MA. I imagine people will start lining up around 430 or 5am.

If I buy the book and go very early and don't get a wristband I will be seriously disappointed. Then again if I am standing out there by myself at 6:30 I will feel rather foolish. HOw many of you guys are really going to go that early?

What time do you think people will start lining up for the wristbands? I am driving from Central Massachusetts (6hrs) for the event, so I'm nervous about what time to get there?

If anyone finds out she is doing a fund raiser while in town and meet her would you tell me. I'm willing to pay $100 for an autograph with her like she did in Auburn.

Sarah is a real American. She asked us to keep up the fight after I had given her our WSR card. I met many patriots through the night. John and I passed out close to 1000 cards, poured coffee and gave doughnut holes to as many people as we could during the early morning. I even maintained a small contained fire after midnight and was able to share thoughts and experiences with many new friends.

A friend & I went out the night before to buy our books, talked with some of the people already in line, and decided we'd have to come back really early if we were going to get in! We arrived just before 4 a.m. and already the line went all the way down past Value City. People who counted said we were about 325 in line so I felt pretty confident about getting a bracelet. I had just gotten my Gadsen Flag which I proudly carried - it was a great draw for people who wanted pictures, gave out lots of WSR cards, had some great conversations with people. It was a lot of fun. Metting Sara Palin was great - she seemed genuine and really concerned. She even commented on my WSR shirt! I told her I hope she runs in 2012, but even if she doesn't she is doing great things for America and bringing strong, value driven issues to the spotlight. The small group of protesters made me mad (bet they didn't have a permit!) but our spontaneous outbreak of "God Bless America" was overwhelming!
    •  Sorry, I couldn't find you guys, but my wife and I had a GREAT time there, I'll try to post a cool pic, when I find out how.
    •  Long day, scored a band, got two copies signed. A <massive> protest of between 8-20 people (ACORN must be running out of money). Everyone in line was excited and polite. Tired, but I'd do it again.
    •  Good people lots of good laughs and contacts, lots of fun.
    •  Fantastic!!!!!!!! Met lots of meet up and non-meet up people. We are exchanging pictures and info. Fun singing and playing with the protesters. We saw her arrive and walk in the back door. Sarah said more than Hi to me. She asked me about my shirt (Sarah loves Scrantom) and I told her I missed seeing her there after driving down there, but I did leave her a picture of her and her daughter from their Auburn stop last spring. Shooowed away from table as we talked, but it was great to talk and shake her hand.

I finally made it!! The people there were wonderful. I got there at 5:30am and was person number 540ish. Everyone was happy and friendly. I enjoyed sharing stories with everyone and sharing the experience. My only complaint is the misrepresentation of the number of wristbands. It was very disappointing to be about 40 or so people back when they announced they were out. I think many of us would have made different decisions if we had known beforehand that the wristband number was not 1000. I was quite upset, but my husband wanted to try again, so we got in the overflow line about 4:00. Again, this part of the experience was much better than it sounds on paper. You would think standing in line for 5 hours would be awful, but everyone was so nice and glad to be there. We had a very good time. It was all worth it when they let us all in. Sarah Palin stayed late and signed everyone's book. She was friendly and gracious and my children loved her!! Thank you Sarah!
    •  Nice crowd of supporters. Met and had good political discussions with 5 people. Met two sisters who drove all the way from Hoboken N.J. and stayed all night to get the magic wristbands that allowed entry to meet Gov, Palin. Got lots of cool pictures. Best of all got hooked up with a person going in with a wristbamd that was alone and she allowed me to accompany her inside. I shook hands with Sarah Palin and had short discussion with Sarah. She is Amazing in person. Got my copy of her book signed too !!! When I was driving out I noticed the police had a bunch of people chanting anti Palin stuff and carrying protest signs that the Police had kept quite a distance away from the Borders Book Store. Litetard PIN HEADS with no life I guess !!
    •  A good show of support for Sarah while having a fun time too.
