-If someone owns a personal luggage cart and a bungee cord they could bring them along. It could be loaded with half-a-dozen chairs and pulled along by one person, freeing up 5 other people's hands. Those with larger wheels are better as D.C.'s curbs were not kind to smaller wheeled devices in the Union Station area.

We will be able to keep things on the bus.

Two questions: How do you know the bus isn't going to be full in Henrietta? Don't you have to sign up to depart from a certain area? Is there a special part of the website I haven't found to get updates.

As soon as we can, but the law says that Bus drivers and Truck drivers have to have a specified rest period, I think 8 hours, so it will be around 5 or 6 August 28th. This is something we have no control or say about. It is the law. It is going to take a good 2 or 3 hours to get off the Mall, on the Metro and back to RFK anyways.

It appears that the 8/28 event is only scheduled from 10AM-1PM. Could someone tell me approximately what time the buses would be scheduled to leave DC to return to Rochester?

My husband, myself and my 9 and 11 year old will all be there. We are going from WIlliamsburg, VA though. We are spending our vacation there - living history lesson on the ideals and sacrifices made to establish and preserve our nation ! Not sure if there will be anyway to meet up with you all since the best info is on the right side of the Lincoln memorial.

My sister and I along with our daughters are driving down on Friday and staying until Sunday. We are very excited about going - I hope this is as big - if not bigger - than 9/12 was last year!

We would love to be able to meet up with others but are not sure how we would ever be able to do that? Any suggestions?

The bus service, the driver Clem in #1 bus, the seats and lighting (and of course the cup holders!) were wonderful. Every aspect of the trip showed John's great planning and the good spirit of our group. If I could fly down to an event, I wouldn’t do it... most of the fun is catching up with our WSR folks, meeting new folks, seeing the excitement of new members, talking deeply about issues... great job WSR!
    •  Another great trip to DC with a good group of people. Kudos to John Woods and all the bus captains who did such a great job organizing the event. The buses were much better than what we had on 9/12 and our driver (bus 1) was excellent. I would support using them again for future events. Glenn's event was certainly inspirational. It was definitely not political as he has been stating right along. The crowd was peaceful which is also not a surprise. I only saw a couple of wing nuts including one 9/11 truther but they were at least unobtrusive. As with the 9/12 event last year, myself and others made it a point to thank local law enforcement for their efforts. We must continue to set a great example when we peaceably assemble. It's really easy to return to life as normal so I hope and pray that Glenn's rally will be the spark that turns our people back to both God and principle.

It was great! Of course any bus ride will do damage to my already damaged neck, but who cared! It was a super time and I was happy to be with my friends to see Glenn Beck.
    •  8/28 was truly an historic day and already has and will continue to change the direction America has been heading. 500,000 to 1,000,000 people were able to be there, and that is probably only 10% of the people who wanted to be there - think of the power of that many people who armor themselves with God's word and also act on it....Thank you so much to John and Elaine for putting in hours and hours to put together an awesome trip! And to Bus Captains Rich, Guy and Paul for volunteering your time an talent.

I want to say thank you to all participants from WSR 9-12 on how well the trip went. I may not know you all on a personal level ,but I know you all as Great Americans ! Patriots of this Great Country of Our's ! I'm honored to stand shoulder to shoulder with all of you ! To protect Our Country from what has , is and may go on in the future ! Thank You all again ! God Bless us all and Our Country !

Thank You John and Elaine for putting this trip together and your early planning and relentless work. I also want to thank all the Patriots for going to D.C what a special group of people you all are, last I wish to thank all the Patriots on my bus #3 in a great ride down and back I'm glad to know you that much better. Can't wait to go back next year.............

Wonderful people, good buses, great drivers, Awe inspiring rally, Weather was warm so we drank lots of water.
    •  grateful to all those who made this trip possible
    • Susan Englert (+1 guest)
Enjoyed riding with like minded people. Bus was very nice, except for seats which lacked enough padding for an 8 hour ride. Bus driver was awesome & organizers were very considerate to include enough stops for us to stretch our legs.
    • Deb (+1 guest)
wonderfully inspirational! Buses are still brutal, but a bit better! I sat way up front at the rally in the shade the whole time! great people all around. My son had a medical emergency and staff and Fire people on hand were fabulous. They whisked him off in a wheel chair to a "cooling" bus! We never could get back to our folding chairs/great spot, but heard the rest of the events under a tree back by the WWII memorial! Then took a cab back to RFK stadium! Great place for the bus, everything was WONDERFUL, we will do it again! thanks to John and Rich (our bus #3 guide); keep up the great work! Deb and Taylor Eaton
