For members interested in running for office or learning how the political process works, PrimaryChallenge.org is holding a meeting on Saturday, Feb. 6th, from 9:00am to 1:00pm at the Barnes & Noble at RIT.

Get information about how to run for office, how many signatures you need, when the deadlines are, how to become a committeeman, how to support new candidates, etc.

For too long, the citizens of New York have been the victims of non representative and corrupt government at the local and state levels.

The purpose of Primary Challenge is to draft, support and infuse new leadership to reduce the burden of government on the taxpayer. Primary Challenge works within the two party system by encouraging candidates at the primary level who believe that economic development can be achieved through sound fiscal policies. Primary challenge believes that giving an alternative at the primaries of both the Democratic and Republican parties will make government more responsive to the voter.

Lenny is a good speaker. He knows what he is talking about first hand. I've always wanted to run for office and he taught me how to do it. Primary Challenge is a lot better than GOOOH!

I live in San Diego County, CA, so I will not be able to attend any meetings held in NY. I would appreciate being removed from your membership. I am with you in spirit in every way, i.e., appreciate Glenn Beck and all the information he pours out, the Tea Party movement to take our country back this November, but I will only participate to a limited level in San Diego. Good Luck. Jean Morgan

This was a well thought out and very informational event. All who attended the event need to take this information back to other members and groups and explain the basic principles of Primary Challenge.
    •  Lenny Roberto presented great info. Good interest and motivated people in attendance. Folks committed to organize locally to continue this education and action
    •  Very informative. Answered many questions and inpired a few to run for office.
    •  Very informative and practical. Lenny is a very good instructor. I like the fact he is not just telling us to take action. He has tried and tested this method himself. He is running for state senate.
    •  Very Informative.
    •  Information was useful Speaker was interesting Meeting started at 9:30 Break was too long
    •  I learned a lot today. Much of it was discouraging, unfortunately. The sheer volume of bureacracy and corruption we face in simply running for office today is daunting. I admire the speaker tremendously for hanging in there and fighting "the system." He's a patriot. But I will probably think twice now before giving serious thought to running for any political office because of the weight of corruption and cronyism at the State and local Board of Elections level. I wish more people knew about what's happening with our election system. If this presentation (which was completely non-partisan) could be seen by voters on a grand scale, perhaps real change could occur. I don't know what my next move will be, if any. I would like to help this organization find its voice, if I can, but I may not be the right person to seek any particular office.
