Out they go! When are they up for reelection? We should cause a lot of noise and draw attention to them.

I wouldn't celebrate just yet. We were sleeping on this one. From what I understand, this was an amendment coupled with the NATIONALIZATION OF ALL STUDENT LOANS! What this means is that in about six months, there will be no more private student loans. All student loans will be from the government. As if liberal influence wasn't already dominant in institutes of higher learning...

Paul is absolutely right! It was slipped into H.R. 3221

See Lorene's post earlier today.

This stuff is all pre-planned and happening way to fast. Glad ACORN defunded but not so happy that actual undercover was not performed to shut ACORN down for good.

And now kids going to college are going to have to come from independently wealthy or be completely dependent on governent. (There's still the military option).

No premature celebrating, people. As long as the Dems can avoid passing identically-worded resolutions stripping the funds from our favorite criminal conspiracy, the more money will keep flowing through the still-open pipeline to the ACORN mob.

Keep in mind that Pres. BO has to sign the result of the conference committee (if they ever decide to produce one). How long do you think that will take?

Keep the pressure on. This bunch in Washington is not to be trusted on anything!

Dave is right. Remember, it is all smoke and mirrors! You have to watch what ALL the hands are doing! I will not celebrate this one until Barry signs it, and even then, read the bill thoroughly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if they put nothing more than lip service bill through, and ACORN continues to be funded.

Exactly right - I seriously doubt BO will ever sign a bill to defund ACORN.
