Penalty & Jail Time If You Don't Get Health Insurance

 According to the Joint Committee on Taxation, Americans who fail to pay the penalty for not buying insurance would face legal action from the Internal Revenue Service. Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.) asked the committee's chief of staff, Thomas Barthold about it, he replied that the IRS would "take you to court and undertake normal collection proceedings." Ensign made the point that it criminalizes citizens simply because they do not believe that the health insurance mandate is constitutional. The committee obviously didn't care, because they rejected an amendment from Sen. Jim Bunning (R-Ky.) to eliminate the individual mandate. Gosh sakes my blood pressure is rising!............Does anyone want to form little groups and go to the library or someone's house and dissect the Constition with me? There must be a way to oust him w/o waiting until he COMPLETELY destroys OUOR country!

I think the penalty for not sighing onto their plans (say you want to self ensure, or there are religious medi-share co-ops) are one of the worst parts of the takeover. And their trying to discuss it like car insurance got blown out of the water in about 5 minutes.
