Tea party groups are burning out and will probably fail before april 15. Also, apparently, we are at the astroturf stage again...I guess they will need to be spanked in 2010 to understand how wrong they are?

To put it in a short sentance --

CNN is dreaming.

It looks like they're trying to set up the tea party movement to fail to me. They want the movement to have a single face. Well that's good for the Communist News Network, (I'm gonna use that from now on), because with a single face they can just hate a single person. They already hate Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin, and promote hatred of both of them, and hey, big surprise, they practically suggest the tea party movement just stand behind someone right after they mention both of their names!

Not only are they all over the place on non-fact based opinions, (which I've come to expect from CNN), but I really think they're hoping tea party people like ourselves will read that and say "Hey, let's have the whole movement hinge on a single person, so if they fail, we fail like Obama and the Democrats are doing!"

Okay, I honestly can't tell if they're just so stupid they think a single face is a good idea, or if they're trying to suggest it because they know it doesn't work. That might be why their ratings are down the toilet.

Actually,we're reloading !!! Let them think what they want, I like it that we are dealing with self deluded people. Keep doing what you are doing, keep educating your selves and keep in touch. There is a group model called a Starfish group, loosely connected seperate entities that come together at one of the groups request. So let them think we have vanished like smoke, before we storm their castles and bring them down. An old scout once said of the Apaches, "I worry when I don't see them, I know they are there, just don't know what they are doing. And that usually means trouble."

Start connecting with other state groups and other 9-12 groups around NY pretty easy to do with e-mail then as we connect more to others we become a much larger group.

What are membership numbers doing on 912 sites? Last I checked, they were growing, not shrinking.

Look at it this way, with their shrinking numbers and more and more Americans "waking up" the only thing left for them to do is try to discredit us! They are scared, closed-minded morons who feel if you don't agree with them you must be an idiot! Besides, they won't report the real truth so what else is left???................

They've got the facts so messed up in that article, it's dishonest, even by CNN's standards. CNBC correspondent Rick Santelli, in February '09, gave the first mention of reconstituting a Sons of Liberty -type movement by stating that there should be tea parties across the country to protest bailing out mortgagees from being foreclosed on (statistically, adjustments to terms and just about every modification to a mortgage in default will fail more than 80% of the time):

Tea Parties were held across the country within days, and a small (quite small!) one held here in March and a gigantic one on April 15, 2009, just like the rest of the country.

April 15th is a Thursday next year, I'm in rain or shine. It's also an election year, so it's that much more important not to give CNN and the rest of the detractors any "red meat" that they would disingenuously use to try and tear down the movement (Anderson Cooper should have been subject to internal discipline for likening citizens actively partaking in petitioning their government for a redress of grievances to a sexual act, but that's the lowest-rated cable news network for you).

Glenn Beck reveals the Plan

Friends,

What an amazing few days on the road this has been. Your spirits have been high, your faith strong and your spine unbendable. I ended my multiday book tour at The Villages with what had been billed as a rally but could be better described as a candid citizen-to-citizen chat.

Today, I have stopped looking for a leader to show us the way out because I have come to realize that the only one who can truly save our country...is us. To change America's course we need to change ourselves, our expectations and our willingness to accept the unacceptable. When we refuse to allow our children to receive a trophy for participation, we are on the road to restoring the meaning of merit in our Republic. When we insist that no one is too big to fail, we will be able to learn from our mistakes, and when we demand that we are self-reliant, we will ensure that others can rely on us, not the government.


There is much to do, much to learn and time is of the essence. While I will be explaining the entire Plan over the coming weeks and months, I did want to give you a preview of some of the highlights:

- Education is key, and not just for our children. To that end, we will be conducting a series of conventions. These will be full-day experiences where you will be immersed in learning about topics ranging from self-reliance, community organizing, the economy and how to be a political force in your own neighborhood and country. The first one will be in Orlando at UCF Arena on March 27th. You will also be able to vote to have a convention in your region by clicking here.

- I have begun meeting with some of the best minds in the country that believe in limited government, maximum freedom and the values of our Founders. I am developing a 100 year plan. I know that the bipartisan corruption in Washington that has brought us to this brink and it will not be defeated easily. It will require unconventional thinking and a radical plan to restore our nation to the maximum freedoms we were supposed to have been protecting, using only the battlefield of ideas.

- All of the above will culminate in The Plan, a book that will provide specific policies, principles and, most importantly, action steps that each of us can take to play a role in this Refounding.

- On August 28, 2010, I ask you, your family and neighbors to join me at the feet of Abraham Lincoln on the National Mall for the unveiling of The Plan and the birthday of a new national movement to restore our great country.

Also, I'm very sorry I missed the Christmas party. I thought I had a family reunion that day but it turned out it was the next day. I hope it was fun.
