So I will throw my hat into the ring!

So my before collecting signatures, is there anyone in the group who has an in with the republican or conservative party to get my name on the ballot?

Do you live in Rochester?

As far as I know it meets in the 2nd or 3rd Wednesday of every month in Rochester, I think this is where you would start. As far as a statewide republican party? I am not sure...If you want someone to go with you to that meeting my brother and I will show up.

In order to be assimilated into the collective you need to show up for like 2 months then get voted in or something like that and you are part of the Rochester republicans (this is not an official explanation by any means HA).

Also, as far as I can tell you will need 15,000 signatures to get on the ballot. I would warn you though...I cannot imagine the Republican party in rochester is even close to "Tea Party", I would go as far as to say that they would discourage you, only because people like you and I don't bend over enough for parties like those that currently exist.

But lets go and give it a try!

I contacted the number found on that page and here is the precise information:

The meeting is on the second Wednesday of this month (Wednesday the 13) at 7:00pm.

I know a lot of people are "against" the party at this point (hell, I've never been a part of it).
