Just heard this mentioned on "Fox and Friends," and had to look it up for myself. Apparently, our illustrious Senator, Chuck Schumer, recently sent a fund-raising e-mail calling Scott Brown a "far-right, tea-bagger Republican." Link here for his entire letter: Schumer: "Brown a Far-Right Tea-Bagger"
I would say that Chuck Schumer has completely crossed the line when it comes to being "out-of-touch" with the public he is supposed to serve. Remember his remark that the taxpayers didn't mind the "little porky things" being hidden in pieces of legislation coming out of DC? And how about his refusing to turn off his cell phone on an airline, which held up everyone else on the plane, not to mention his calling the stewardess the "B" word? It won't be long before the words "let them eat cake" cross his lips - although he's already said it in so many different ways! |

It only takes 15,000 signatures to run against this dried up dirt bag? Man would I love to debate him.

Ok, do you remember your playground bully? Think back to how they felt powerful. They intimidated, used belittling name-calling, and also brute force to make you scared, and themselves feel powerful. Now, think back to the kid who stood up to the bully. After all the name-calling and such he wasn't running scared. So, now the bully has to make himself feel better by trying to intimidate the others left who may not have the nerve to stand up to him. He's petrified inside thinking how that one boy made him out to be not so tough after all. Case in point-Scott Brown running Chucky boy running scared..........................how better to make himself feel than by trying to make Scott Brown out as a loser..........BTW-where's the spot to sign for you Mike?

Same here! Mind you, I'll sign to elect a fart over Schumer, but I'll sign for you to run against him if for nothing else then to see you debate him! (I'd help promote the campaign too)

I'll sign. I just wonder how many in NYC would still vote for Senator Elitest? Regrettably, there are enough of them down there that blindly vote for him. Is there anyone that will run against Gillibrand that's any good?

It only takes 15,000 signatures to run against this dried up dirt bag? Man would I love to debate him. Is that 15,000 to get on the ballot. What if we had a write in campaign? I don't think you need to be on a ballot if everyone writes in his name. What would happen if, at the election (or primary), someone who hasn't run a campaign gets a percentage of the vote? (I wouldn't expect you to win, unless we get another Scuzzy candidate and things get much worse.) |
