Our former governor resigns amidst the "client number 9" scandal (still trying to figure out why he wasn't charged with anything), the current, accidental governor is able to wage a week-long campaign until his past comes up to haunt him, Louise is the "Dumbest Thing of the Week" on O'Reilly, Charlie Rangle finally gets censured, but then blames it on his staff. This is the best and the brightest New York State has to offer?

I think it's interesting to note that with Paterson's decision not to run, he has cleared the way for Andrew Cuomo to avoid a primary - unless someone else is dumb enough to oppose him. Also interesting is the fact that Cuomo is the Attorney General - isn't he the one who investigates when a NY State official is accused of misconduct? Any conflict of interest there?
